Palmyra Atollの２つのハマサンゴの110年間のd18O、14Cを測定。1954年にMarshall Islandsで行われた核実験由来の14Cが大きく影響している。一部二次アラゴナイトも見られたが、14Cは続成に強いことが分かった。
