→西南極氷床が間氷期に融解したときに気候・炭素循環に与える影響を、LOVECLIMを用いてモデル実験して評価。海氷面積の拡大、南半球偏西風の強化、南極深層水形成の弱化、深海温度の上昇(→さらに西南極氷床が融解する正のフィードバック)などの影響が見られた。CO2濃度は変わらないらしい。MIS5eの記録と一致?
