My week in Fukuoka for AOGS

Last week, I traveled to Fukuoka for the Asia Oceania Geosciences Society (AOGS) conference to present my research on dissolved inorganic radiocarbon within North Pacific Subtropical Mode Water. For one week, I listened to many great talks from scientists around the world.

My presentation was on the 5th of August in the evening. I was excited to share what I have been researching for the past year of my PhD.

Presenting My Research

I had a lot of fun taking photos on my new (old) digital camera from 2008. I had the chance to explore the city on a road trip with a few old and new friends I met at the conference! The weather was very hot everyday, ranging from 35° to 37°C.

I hope I will be able to attend AOGS again next year!
