The Mid-Pleistocene climate transition: onset of 100 ka cycle lags ice volume build-up by 280 ka
Mudelsee, M., and Schulz, M.
Earth and Planetary Science Letters 151(1-2) 117–123. 1997. doi:10.1016/S0012-821X(97)00114-3
→This is the first paper I am aware of that pointed out, based on an analysis of sediment cores available at the time, each with astronomically tuned age models, that the MPT was a two step process. First Ice volume increased at around 920 ka, followed by the onset of statistically significant 100 ky cyclicity at around 650 ka. Note that there may be slight differences in the the ages reported in this manuscript with the corresponding events in LR04, though the conclusions remain robust. (It would be a good exercise for students to reproduce this experiment on both LR04 and Huyber's depth-derived age model.)

まずは磁場収束型のHR-ICP-MS(高分解能誘導結合プラズマ質量分析装置: ELEMENT XR)。
