→ジュラ紀と白亜紀に生息していた巨大なノミの化石を中国で発見。ノミ類の最古の宿主は体毛または羽毛を持つ「爬虫類」であったことが示唆され、その後新生代になって哺乳類および鳥類の宿主に適応放散したと考えられるらしい。
